The fifth in a line of small-batch whiskies from the far north, this release has matured for five years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for six months in first-fill ex-Madeira hogsheads.  

The result is a rich, sophisticated whisky, with a depth of flavour that offers complexity to the experienced, and surprises to the uninitiated.
