Three species of Wormwood - Absinthium, Pontica and Vulgaris – endow the liquid with its characteristic personality and balanced level of pleasant bitterness. From lesser-known distilleries, each of the Rum and Cane releases is limited to just one barrel. To preserve the character of these rums, no caramel colouring is added, neither are they chill-filtered. A marriage of rums from different distilleries from one region, capturing the vibrancy, style, and terroir of that area. The single barrel range takes individual barrels of rum from uncommon distilleries or islands, bottled only when they reach optimum maturity, perfectly reflecting the distillery’s style.
